How to reach us – Ortigia Mastrarua Rooms

By car

• From Catania (Fontanarossa Airport): take the A18 motorway towards Syracuse and follow the signs for the Siracusa Sud exit. Continue towards the city center following signs for Ortigia. Once you cross the Umbertino Bridge or the Santa Lucia Bridge, enter the island of Ortigia and join Via Vittorio Veneto, which runs along the sea on the east side (Levante).

• ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone): Please note that access to the historic center is regulated by electronic gates. We recommend checking ZTL activation times before your arrival or contacting us for updated information.

Parking Our location is extremely convenient for those traveling by car:

• Talete Parking: This is the island’s main covered paid parking facility. It is less than a 5-minute walk from our property, making arrival and luggage handling very easy.

• Riva Nazario Sauro: Along the street leading to our property, there are blue-line parking spaces (paid).

By train The Syracuse railway station is about 2 km away. You can reach us:

• By taxi: (about 10 minutes).

• On foot: (about 20–25 minutes), enjoying a walk across the bridges and the monumental entrance to Ortigia.

By bus The main bus terminal (Interbus, AST) is located near the train station. From there you can reach Ortigia on foot, by taxi, or via the municipal electric shuttles that regularly connect the station area with the island perimeter.

From the airport (Catania Fontanarossa)

• Car rental: about 50 minutes via the A18 motorway.

• Interbus: direct connection from the airport to Syracuse station (departures დაახლოებით every hour).

• Private transfer: upon request, we can arrange a private transfer service for you to reach us in total comfort.

On foot Ortigia Mastrarua Rooms is located on the scenic Via Vittorio Veneto. Once on the island, walking is the best way to explore: we are just a few steps from the seaside solariums, the historic market, and major attractions such as Piazza Duomo and the Temple of Apollo.
