Location

Cinque Terre Gateway is located at Piazza Saint Bon, 15, at the foot of the Cinque Terre National Park, easily reachable by train and just a short walk from the historical city center and La Spezia Central Station. The city of La Spezia boasts many valuable monumental attractions due to its ancient history, including the San Giorgio Castle (1262), the Military Maritime Arsenal (1869), the Civic Theater (1849), and numerous Christian churches, such as the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, which has represented the political and civic center of La Spezia since the first half of the thirteenth century. The city lends its name to the Gulf of La Spezia, which lies before it, now more commonly known as the Gulf of Poets. Along the Ligurian coastline are the breathtaking views and picturesque villages of the Cinque Terre, all easily accessible from La Spezia in about twenty minutes by train.
