The Relais La Tenuta del Gallo lies 8 Km from Amelia and is accessible from the A1 Motorway and the E45 Dual carriageway.
From the A1 Motorway coming from the North:
- Exit at Attigliano, in the direction of Lugnano in Teverina – Porchiano – Amelia – at the Roman bridge before Amelia, take the road to the left (the road of Macchie) in the direction of Macchie for about 6 Km, then turn right to a downhill road, then left till the second gate.
From the A1 Motorway coming from the South:
- Exit of Orte, turn left and follow the directions for Orte, turn right at the crossroads for Amelia on the Ortana- Amerina street SP8 and continue in the direction for about 10 km until you reach Amelia, in Piazza XXI Settembre turn left in the direction of Orvieto for about 2 Km. After the Roman bridge take the road to the right (called “Strada di Macchie”) in the direction of Macchie, continue for 6 Km, then turn right to a downhill road, then left till the second gate.
From Terni and Perugia via the E-45:
- Slip-road for Terni – Orte in the direction of Rome, take the exit for Amelia, in the direction of Amelia – go through the town of Amelia and in Piazza XXI Settembre andare a sinistra and continue in the direction of Orvieto for about 2 Km. After the Roman bridge take the road to the right (called “Strada di Macchie”) in the direction of Macchie, continue for 6 Km, then turn right to a downhill road, then left till the second gate.
