By car
The Riviera di Ponente is served by two motorways, the Genoa-Ventimiglia A10 E80 and E717 A6 Torino-Savona. Savona is roughly 131 km from the Principality of Monaco, 139 km from Turin, 177 km from Milan and 280 km from Florence.

By train
The Riviera is served by the Genoa-Ventimiglia line with local and long-distance trains connecting the French Riviera with Genova and the rest of Italy. Savona and the Riviera are also reachable by the Turin-Savona line. And finally it presents an overview line through the Maritime Alps from Ventimiglia to the ski resort of Limone Piemonte.

Genoa is the main harbour of the Ligurian coastline with ferries running to and from the Mediterranean. The Maritime port is the first port of call of the Ligurian coastline.
