Location

Saint Vincent can be reached in different ways:
BY CAR:
Turin is directly connected to the A5 motorway and is only 55 km from Pont-Saint-Martin, the "East" door of the Valley and the first municipality that meets upon entering Valle d'Aosta; 98 km from the regional capital Aosta (Aosta Est exit) and 136 from Courmayeur.
Coming from Milan (164 Km), along the A4 motorway, take the Santhià junction, in the direction of Aosta. Also limited travel time for those coming from Genoa (226 km).
You can also reach the valley from the French or Swiss side through the two tunnels of Mont Blanc and the Gran San Bernardo, respectively taking the state road n ° 26 and n ° 27 and, during the summer (between June and October), through the crossings of the Piccolo and Gran San Bernardo.

ON THE TRAIN:
Reaching Valle d'Aosta by train is a good alternative to road traffic, the fog of the winter months and, why not, to pollution. The Aosta railway station is located in the immediate vicinity of the departure station of the cableway linking the city to the Pila ski area. Aosta is connected to the Torino Porta Nuova and Torino Porta Susa stations, with a frequent number of rides.
The average journey time is 130 minutes with a change of train to Ivrea. The main Aosta Valley railway stations that meet along the route (Pont-Saint-Martin, Verrès and Châtillon / Saint-Vincent) are connected to the side valleys by bus services with departures generally related to train times.
By train from Milan it is possible in about 200 minutes, with a change of train at the stations of Ivrea and Chivasso.
