Location

Masseria Alberotanza is located about 2 km from the fascinating medieval center of Conversano where it is possible to admire the remains of the megalithic walls, the castle of the Acquaviva D'Aragona, the art gallery which houses the works of Paolo Finoglio, as well as the countless churches and impressive Cathedral.

Conversano, a well-known cultural center in the Bari hinterland, stands on a gentle hill a few km from Polignano a mare from where, continuing along the coast, you come to Monopoli, a town famous for the long stretch of Chapter beach with exclusive beaches and excellent restaurants where you can savor the typical dishes of the seafaring tradition.

Continuing, a few km away you can visit the suggestive Valle d'Itria and its countless and enchanting neighboring villages from Alberobello, well known for its famous trulli, to Locorotondo, Cisternino and Martina Franca. Continuing south towards Brindisi it is possible to admire the beaches of Savelletri and Torre Canne, the famous "white city" of Ostuni, the Natural Marine Reserve of Torre Guaceto and one of the most important archaeological sites in Italy: Egnazia. A labyrinth of caves and underground chasms is another very interesting itinerary not to be missed, the most beautiful Italian speleological complex of Castellana Grotte.

Matera and its spectacular Sassi are also a nearby destination.
