By Train:
Sirmione is located near the Milan-Venice railway line. There is no railway station Sirmione, but, coming from the west you can get off at that of Desenzano and coming from the east get off at Peschiera, and then take, in one case or another the bus to Sirmione.
By Bus:
You can take the bus either to Verona and Brescia (travel time: about an hour) or, more advisable to Peschiera or Desenzano (travel time: about 20 minutes).
By boat:
It can be romantic to travel by boat on the lake, but perhaps to get to Sirmione is not the most advisable means. For example, if you get off at the FS station in Desenzano to get to the port you should do more than 600 meters, even downhill.
