"Thistle" refers to the blue thistle, a special plant that you can find in the nearby dunes of Koksijde. This name symbolizes both the natural beauty of the area and the unique charm of our villa.

The house returns with its rich history to the year 1924. Designed by the famous architect Gaston Lejeune, also an emblematic figure of Koksijde. The property is a real jewel of architectural heritage. This still gives it a unique appearance in the region. The house is also included in the list of 4* houses in Koksijde precisely because it has a certain heritage value and needs to be preserved and protected. Originally built by the builders Van Peteghem – Duquesnoy, the Maison Chardon has since undergone some transformations, always respecting the classic elements.

Today, the villa has been furnished by Joren and Leslie, the driving forces behind this project.
