During an archaeological excavation, remains from different periods were uncovered: ceramics from the Almohad and late medieval Christian periods, as well as structures dating from the 12th to the 20th centuries.

It was during the 19th-century reconstruction that the building became a typical Jerez tenement house, a configuration that remains today. Its sober and functional architecture, together with the charm of its Andalusian courtyard, preserves the authenticity and spirit of that shared life that is part of the popular soul of Jerez.
