Fondo Brugarolo Accommodation

Inaugurated in 2008, the property offers 12 rooms and 2 apartments. They are warm and cosy and equipped with all amenities and are available to those seeking tranquillity and relaxation in the countryside, away from the noise of the city and immersed in the sounds of nature. The building is a careful renovation of the old barn and is adjacent to the main house . The two units, positioned in order to save a wonderful old mulberry tree, offer to the eyes of the visitor a unique and curious perspective. The archetypal Lombard “gallery” house, embellished with exposed brickwork, opens to loggias and balconies that allow direct access to the rooms. The frescoes on the exterior walls and within each room are the works of a “Brianza” artist and pay homage to the local traditional trades and surrounding nature.

MILAN

Milan is a city of art with its own very strong identity. Modern and focused on progress, it is very much “alive” as it culturally looks to the future and new forms of art, style and trends. The capital of industry, economy and international shopping, Milan boasts a well-filled calendar of events that includes fashion shows, trade fairs, sports and cultural happenings.
It is the regional and provincial capital and a lively metropolis in the north of Italy, a true hive of activity amidst the Pianura Padana or Po Valley.

MONZA

Historic Monza, Lombard capital par excellence and fulcrum of hard-working Brianza, famous for the Iron Crown and the beautiful Duomo (cathedral) that houses it, boasts one of Italy’s largest parks, containing, amongst others, the national motor racing circuit and the gardens of the Villa Reale. Monza, situated along the Lambro, was chosen by the Lombard Teodolinda as the capital of his kingdom.

LECCO

BETWEEN MOUNTAIN AND LAKE

That branch of the lake of Como, which extends towards the south, is enclosed by two unbroken chains of mountains, which, as they advance and recede, diversify its shores with numerous bays and inlets. Suddenly the lake contracts itself, and takes the course and form of a river, between a promontory on the right, and a wide open shore on the opposite side. The bridge which there joins the two banks seems to render this transformation more sensible to the eye, and marks the point where the lake ends, and the Adda again begins - soon to resume the name of the lake, where the banks receding afresh, allow the water to extend and spread itself in new gulfs and bays.
