The farmhouse is located in Capraia e Limite, in a panoramic and strategic position: near Florence (25 km), Empoli and Pistoia and not far from Siena, Pisa and Livorno. Despite its position right in the middle of Tuscany, Tenuta Cantagallo is the ideal place for those who are looking for calm and peace. Agriturismo Cantagallo is an old farmhouse that has recently been renovated in full obedience of the traditions of Tuscan decor as to furniture and materials. How did it get its name? The farmhouse stands in the middle of the estate, on the hillock where the cock used to see the sun rising and started to crow: Cantagallo means ?the cock crows?. Nowadays, from that very hillock our guests can enjoy the panoramic view of the Tuscan countryside, castles and small historic villages like Capraia, Montelupo Fiorentino and Vinci, where Leonardo da Vinci was born.
