Description

The building and its surroundings

Son Bleda was built in the 11th century, originally as a monastery. As a last testimonial of these times, you will find a little chapel situated in the heart of Son Bleda. Then in the 17th century, it was refurbished to the manor house as we know it today.

When Dieter Rahmel (owner) bought Son Bleda in 1994, he invested almost 8 years in the restauration of the building and its surroundings. The result is a stunning retreat with stylish rooms, generous apartments, Junior Suites and Suites, each with its own style/design and decorated with art objects from the owners private collection. A fantastic wild garden and a pool overlooking the wide coast of Cala Deià complete the picture.

Son Bleda, situated in the heart of the Tramuntana mountain range (“Unesco World Cultural Heritage”), is not a Luxury Hotel in the common sense, but a comfortable home for people loving peace, nature and style.
