LOCANDA “AL LEON” is situated at Castello 4270 on the street named “CALLE DEI ALBANESI” that is between the Old Prison Palace and the Hotel Danieli Excelsior, near the “Ponte della Paglia” bridge. Taking this street from the waterfront, the last door on the left with a red awning, before the little square “Campo SS. Filippo e Giacomo”, is LOCANDA “AL LEON”.

Don‘t worry about a late arrival, if you contact us in advance, we can arrange for you to check-in late at NO EXTRA CHARGE.

BY PLANE: Upon exiting “Marco Polo Airport”, you can take the public service “ALILAGUNA” (Euro 15,00 per person) and in 80 minutes you will arrive at the San Zaccaria stop. (This service runs roughly every half hour), or there are shuttle buses run by ACTV and ATVO to PIAZZALE ROMA (Euro 10,00 per person) – until around midnight, then take the ACTV public transport boat “VAPORETTO” Line 1 ( tourist line – Grand Canal) – Line 5.1 or Line 4.1 ( express lines – Giudecca Canal) or “N” (after midnight ) to SAN ZACCARIA ( Single ride ticket Euro 9,50 per person, discounted multiday passes also available). It is also possible to take a private water taxi to either San Zaccaria or to Ponte della Canonica in about 35-40 minutes (Euro 130-140 for up to four people including luggage).

If you arrive at “Canova Airport” in TREVISO you can take the ATVO shuttle bus ( connecting with each flight – Euro 12,00 per person ) and in 70 minutes you will arrive at PIAZZALE ROMA, then take the ACTV public transport boat “VAPORETTO” lines 1, 5.1, 4.1 or N to SAN ZACCARIA.

BY CAR: You can park at GARAGE SAN MARCO. You can reach it crossing the long causeway PONTE DELLA LIBERTA’ that connects Venice to the mainland, you will arrive at PIAZZALE ROMA and you must drive to the second big garage. The daily price is Euro 45,00 for 24h, but we can provide you with a voucher for a 20% discount ( 10% in the Summer ). Then take the ACTV public transport boat “VAPORETTO” lines 1, 5.1, 4.1 or N to SAN ZACCARIA.
You can also park at INTERPARKING TRONCHETTO. The daily price is Euro 26,00, and we can provide you with a 15% discount voucher. From Tronchetto it is possible to take the ACTV public transport boat “VAPORETTO” line 2 to SAN ZACCARIA

BY TRAIN: upon exiting the ”SANTA LUCIA” Railway Station take the ACTV public transport boat “VAPORETTO” lines 1, 5.1, 4.1 or N to SAN ZACCARIA (EURO 9,50 PER PERSON).
