Description

The picturesque town of Green Mountain Falls is quiet and peaceful. Not too much has changed here since its founding in the 1890's. Located just 11 miles from Colorado Springs, Green Mountain Falls is close to activities and attractions, yet far enough away to be a refreshing retreat.

The Green Mountain Falls Lodge, over 100 years old, was originally built in 1910 and has just been luxuriously refurbished. Plenty of on-site parking exists for everyone in your party. The atmosphere created by the use of reclaimed wood and original design elements might initially give you the feeling of traveling back in time to visit that 1890's Rocky Mountain frontier town. However, once you experience your newly remodeled room, you will notice and appreciate the modern conveniences.

Hiking trails abound in the area, with many of the trailheads starting by the lodge. Other activities in the area include fishing, mountain biking, horseback riding, cross country skiing, and visiting the many attractions in the Pikes Peak region.

With up to 9 bedrooms, sleeping a total of 21 people, there is plenty of room for you and your party. At the end of a long, adventurous day, you will savor a relaxing soak in the Jacuzzi tubs found in most of the rooms.

The Lodge has a deck encompassing three sides of the building, giving you breath-taking views of Pikes Peak and the surrounding Rocky mountains. The newly-built deck can fit a party of any size and offers a grill for barbecuing and fire pit for roasting marshmallows under the stars. Memories will practically make themselves!

So from the time you wake up early to watch the deer, or catch up on rest as you sleep in, until you stargaze on the expansive deck with a fire and friends, this is the place for you. Plan your vacation at the newly-renovated, historic Green Mountain Falls Lodge and truly enjoy Colorado how it was meant to be enjoyed. We welcome you and look forward to hearing from you.
